School Equivalency Diploma: 2. Requirements for Issuance of Diploma: a. Minimum test scores: A standard score of at least 410 on each of the five tests and an average standard score of 450 on all five tests. The
minimum test score must equal 2250. b. Minimum age: At least 18
years of age, and not enrolled in secondary school, or, if, under 18 years of age, the class in which the
applicant was last enrolled has graduated. 3. Requirements for Testing: 1. Minimum age for
testing: Persons not meeting the
age requirements in 2b, maybe permitted to
take the test under one of the following conditions (a) Is 17 years of age,
not enrolled in secondary school and the class to which she/he was last
assigned in high school has graduated, or; (b) Is 17 years of age,
not enrolled in secondary school, and has received special permission to test
from the Chief Examiner of the testing center to which application is made,
or; (c) Is 16 years of age, not
enrolled in secondary school for at least six months and has received permission to test from
the Commissioner of Education. 4. Requirements for Retesting: An applicant my retest
after she/he has had the opportunity to prepare
further (usually 6 months after successful completion of a preparatory
course), or at the discretion of the Chief Examiner. |
